Affiliate Disclosure
Some Fizafit pages include affiliate links. If you buy through those links, Fizafit may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
What are affiliate links
Affiliate links are tracked URLs that connect you to retailers, marketplaces, or brands. When you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase, the retailer may pay Fizafit a referral commission. Commissions help fund testing, gear, and site maintenance. Your purchase price does not change.
How we disclose affiliate relationships
We flag affiliate links directly in the copy — look for language like "affiliate link" or "we earn a commission" near the outbound link. If a link is not clearly flagged and you believe it should be, contact us through the contact page with the URL.
Editorial independence
Affiliate potential does not decide which gear gets a green light, a pass, or a middle verdict. We do not publish a write-up solely to move affiliate sales. Products without an affiliate relationship can and do appear on Fizafit. Our goal is to say plainly who a piece of gear fits, who should skip it, and where it fell short — not to maximise commissions.
How gear is selected
Products get picked based on: reader demand for a category (sports apparel, fitness equipment, training tools); retailer or brand availability; price range and real-world value; claims worth checking against use; and coverage gaps in what we've already written up. A product can appear on Fizafit even if we earn no commission on it.
Sponsored content and paid partnerships
If Fizafit publishes sponsored coverage, loaned gear, paid placements, or other commercial partnerships beyond affiliate links, we will label that relationship clearly where it appears (e.g. "Sponsored" or "Gear provided by"). A sponsored relationship does not exempt a write-up from an honest verdict.
Vendors and affiliate networks
Affiliate relationships may involve e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, direct-to-consumer retailers), affiliate networks (ShareASale, Impact, Rakuten), apparel and equipment brands, and other commerce partners. Each affiliate program sets its own terms and commission structure, which Fizafit does not control.
Tracking, cookies, and attribution
Affiliate links may use cookies, click IDs, or referral codes to attribute a purchase back to Fizafit. The retailer or affiliate network may collect device, browser, and purchase-behaviour data under its own privacy policy. We do not control this tracking or how retailers use that data.
Pricing and availability
Prices, stock levels, and sizing can change without notice — especially on apparel runs and seasonal equipment. Always confirm current price, sizing chart, and availability on the retailer or brand page before buying.
Accuracy and errors
We aim to keep affiliate links, sizing details, and vendor details current. If a link is broken, a product has been discontinued, or a detail is significantly off, contact us through the contact page with the URL so we can review and update.
Competitor and brand concerns
If you represent a brand and believe a link, claim, or price is inaccurate or unfair, contact us with supporting context for review.
Reader responsibility
Our write-ups are general product coverage, not personalised training or medical advice for your body, fitness level, or existing conditions. Verify sizing, check warranty terms, and confirm fit before buying. Fizafit content does not replace advice from a qualified trainer, physician, or physical therapist where relevant.
Regional and legal considerations
Affiliate disclosure laws vary by region. In the US and many other countries, the FTC and similar bodies require clear disclosure of material connections like affiliate relationships. We aim to comply, but if you believe a relationship is not adequately disclosed, contact us.
